Testimonials

“I started out as a certified nursing assistant. Being a CNA, you do a lot of the day-to-day care, and you’re also the eyes and ears for the nurses. It’s a great opportunity. There’s so many things you can do. There’s so many different paths you can take. You can go from just an entry-level job and keep going to school, keep working, and pretty much just work your way up the ladder.”

DAKOTA SPIVEY

Administrative Clerk, Indian River Medical Center

“It’s the perfect field if you want a secure job. Everybody is getting older. Everybody needs help at one time in their lives. I think there has to be a special kind of person to be in this field. You have to be good with people. You have to like people and enjoy being around them.”

MIGUEL JIMENEZ-CENDEJAS

Registered Nurse, Indian River Medical Center

“I enjoy touching the lives of others and being there for them in their time of need and sometimes it’s the worst day of their life and I am glad that I’m able to be there and make a difference.”
